Thanksgiving is the day that you're feeling a little extra thankful

Hello Hello,

Holidays are the only days that I have time to actually sit down and write. Honestly, I am not as stressful as before recently which maybe the reason of my reduced writing. I assume there are people that actually read this and I hope you have a fun time so I am going to keep up this writing spirit!

Like I have said in the title, thanksgiving is the day that you should feel a little extra thankful. You should be thankful everyday for the little things that happen to you. You know things like being alive, having a family, having people that appreciates and loves you. Things like that matters.

For a couple years in a row, my Philippino friend has open her house to me and inviting me over every year without fail. I am extremely thankful for that. Because of her, I have a place to go during thanksgiving and staying stuck in the dorms over break isn't fun. I have been there and done that.
Thanks to her, I had the opportunity to enjoy good home cooked food as well as a fusion of thanksgiving dinner. Obviously they couldn't miss the tradition of having the turkey on the table. For them, it less of one family cooking everything but more of every member bringing a dish to the table.

Besides that, I had the chance to celebrate friendsgiving right before I leave the states. It was amazing since we have not really gathered in a long time. It was nice to see everyone's faces and get an update on their life as well as reminiscing the past. College wasn't that long ago but it seems like we've been alumni for ages. We were a little more creative with friendsgiving compare to the traditional thanksgiving. No turkey because we have a vegetarian but we had to have seafood since we all love it so much! Shrimps and salmon piled up on top of each other on the table. It was delicious and worth our time standing outside in the cold grilling it. Nonetheless, it was a success! Can't complain about how much we hate the cold and the labor because in the end it is worth it for each other.

H2.
